Welcome to the Wilson Advising Center home page. The Wilson Advising Center is a division of University College.
The Advising Center is the primary home for advisement of undecided students; students who are still deciding on a major. We realize that many students start their college experience still pondering their career options. The professional advisors located in the Wilson Advising Center are specially trained to assist students with career exploration. Arkansas State University takes the role of academic advising for all students seriously. Each new student is assigned an academic advisor to assist the student in navigating their educational and career path. Students with declared majors are advised by the academic department of their chosen major. Students who need developmental support courses are advising by First-Year Studies. The mission of the Advising Center is to work collaboratively with academic departments and support services to enhance the quality of academic advising for both the students and faculty of Arkansas State University. A variety of services are offered to help meet these needs.
