ENHANCEMENT Q & A

Please explain the CAAP exam and the enhancement courses. All students under 2002 or newer bulletin must take a minimum of three hours of enhancement credit to meet General Education requirements. Students who completed the CAAP exam through June 30, 2007, are required to choose enhancements based on the CAAP exam results. For advising purposes, only students who did not meet the minimum test score on the CAAP will have a hold placed on their self-service account. The hold will indicate which enhancement course the student must complete. All other students should consult with their advisor to determine an appropriate enhancement course to fulfill the General Education requirements. If a hold is not present, students can choose from the enhancement list or an additional general education course not used to satisfy the general education requirements for specific areas.  NOTE: Students may not have more than two general education courses with the same prefix.

If a student does not pass the specified enhancement, they will be required to retake the course until it has been satisfied.
