Welcome
to the website for University College of Arkansas State
University.
We are a unique college with a mission to
facilitate the success of students in achieving their
educational goals. This is accomplished in part by the
collaboration with other units within the University and
by utilizing academic offerings of other colleges at
Arkansas State University.
University College provides assistance to students
through first year experience courses, academic
advising, tutoring, and developmental education. In
addition, students are provided opportunities to create
uniquely designed degree programs to fit their
individual academic aspirations. These programs are the
two-year Associate Degree in General Studies and the
four-year Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary
Studies. The Dean of University College assists
students in developing their individual degree programs.
The Bachelor of Science Degree in Media and Design is
offered through University College in conjunction with
the College of Communication and the College of Fine
Arts. The College also offers a minor in Leadership
Studies in collaboration with the Division of Student
Affairs. Please explore the remainder of our website
for more details on the College and its programs and
feel free to call us at 870-972-3574.
We look forward to visiting with you at the Center of
Excellence in Education when you are on the Arkansas
State University campus.
